AquaBore Drilling Banner

The purpose of grout is to stop unwanted surface runoff and contamination from entering the bore.
It is also used to contain high pressure flows in artesian bores.

Grout is a very important sealer in deeper bores when penetrating multiple aquifers. Usually there is a target aquifer, and all other aquifers will be grouted out.

The cement used for grouting purposes can be either builders cement or general purpose cement.
Additives can be used to enhance setting time, seal quality and elasticity so grout can be easily pumped into position.

We use sand and gravel mix for surface sealing.
